JAC CONSTRUCTION DEPT, a subsidiary of JAC Group, acts as a supporting arm of JAC SHIPPING LINES that undertakes detailed planning and on-site development and support to ensure timely support to minimize any chances of delay. JAC ensures scheduled and timely delivery of projects through trained and experienced teams on the fieldconstruction

JAC is also involved in major construction activities such as :

  • Constructing office buildings, residential buildings, Embassy buildings, industrial buildings, control rooms, utility buildings and laying warehouse, plant and equipment foundations.
  • Developing sites as per the requirements of the client; construction and supply of living/store containers.construction
  • Specializing in civil construction work such as drill pads, plant and equipment foundations of oil and gas processing plants, riverside jetties for unloading heavy-lift cargo and so on.
  • Constructing plant piping, fire hydrant systems, water distribution systems, sewer systems, water treatment plants, effluent treatment plants and so on.
  • Constructing high pressure oil and gas pipelines and installation of the Catholic Protection System.
  • Survey work, soil testing, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) by radiography, ultrasonic test, magnetic particle test, dye penetration test, among others.
  • Installation and erection of oil and gas processing plants, including necessary on-site fabrication work. Installation of power distribution cables, instrument cables and firefighting equipment.
  • Hydrostatic Testing of oil and gas pipelines and fire hydrant systems, and Installation of Pig Launcher and Pig Receiver and pigging of oil and gas pipeline.

PROJECT CARGO SERVICES

Project Cargo Services from CHITTAGONG-BANGLADESH :-
JAC provides integrated project cargo logistics services covering the following aspects:project-cargo

  • Advice on the selection of the port / airport to receive project cargo.
  • Co-ordination with shipping line / airline for monitoring the arrival of the vessel / aircraft.
  • Berthing of the vessel at a suitable berth, if Inchcape Shipping Lines Ltd. is also the vessel handling agent.
  • Route survey from the terminal to the project site to determine the precautions to be taken & to be aware of the statutory limitations & permissions to be taken.
  • Customs documentation.
  • Supervision at the time of discharging the cargo.
  • Arrangement of heavy lift cranes, if needed.
  • Selection of suitable road haulers& ensuring that required number of trailers with suitable capacity are lined up fproject-cargoor road haulage.
  • Making arrangements for the transshipment vessel or barge, if transshipment by sea is involved& moving the cargo to transshipment loading berth.
  • Arranging discharge survey & loading survey (if applicable),
  • Co-ordination with cargo receivers to ensure that project site is ready to receive the project cargo.
  • Positioning of the project cargo at the site & assisting the receivers to offload the cargo at the site.
